Ukraine Army moves front line 5-7 kilometers away from Zaporizhzhia
The front line has been moved five to seven kilometers away from Zaporizhzhia thanks to the actions of the Ukrainian military in recent weeks. Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said this during a nationwide television marathon, Ukrinform reports.
"There are facts that in the last two weeks the front line has been moved away from Zaporizhia by five or seven kilometers. According to Fedorov, in February, when the Russian military invaded the Zaporizhzhia region, they had more forces than Ukraine.
Commenting on the possibility of Russia holding a so-called referendum in Melitopol, Fedorov noted that residents of the city would not support it. As was reported earlier, in Melitopol, Russian invaders seized all enterprises and the city itself back in February.
